I've been hearing through the grapevine that flower punk from the likes of the Black Lips is on it's way back. Their new single "Boys In The Woods" appeared online in December, announcing brand new material for this coming year. A "Boys In The Studio" message of some sorts...
Well good news always comes in pairs and the return of the Black Lips wasn't the only occupation for Cole Alexander & Joe Bradley in these past months. They also formed a supergroup called Night Sun with bluesman Curtis Harding, and Danny Lee Blackwell from Night Beats. The result is a sensational 7 inch debut single, with two delicious soul garage tracks, released via Burger Records (vinyl and cassette). "No Pressure" is a real swinging, midnight ramble of a jam.
