The Fresh & Onlys are another great rock’n’roll band from San Francisco lead by prolific frontman Tim Cohen (also known for his Magic Trick releases). Their rude west-coast garage rock recently evolved to a pop'ier sound, loaded with beautiful arrangements (listen to “20 days & 20 nights”, “Presence of Mind”, “Executioner’s Song).
Their brand new 6-track EP ‘Soothsayer’ is the natural follow-up to an admirable last LP ‘Long Slow Dance’. Check out the following extract “God of Suez” and listen to the record, just released via Mexican Summer. It's definitely the best way to wait for the next material from these guys…
