Introducing LAKIM, a young and talented producer from Virginia, who is about to drop his full length debut album tomorrow (February 25th). The good folk over at Soulection gave me a chance to hear the record before the release, and I was not left disappointed.
The album, through it's entirety, takes you on an instrumental space odyssey into LAKIM's mind of musical mischief. From crisp, groovy, samba infused jams such as "Superb", to more down tempo, synth heavy beats like "Klassified", the whole record is a real treat.
Two tracks, in the shape of "Need Want" and "Thinkin' Bout (Doin' U)", have already been made available for free download on soundcloud, and should give you a good taste of what is to come in the full project. Enjoy and show support this young producer as well as the Soulection fam.
