- Foreign Fields - Anywhere But Where I Am -
Foreign Fields (formerly known as Flights) have just released their astonishing debut album Anywhere But Where I Am on bandcamp and physical format. As the band explain, the album is: “A year of our lives. Recorded in an abandoned office building in the dead of Wisconsin winter and our home studio in Nashville's sweltering summer”.
This record deserves to be listened from top to bottom and possibly by a quiet lake in the woods somewhere far, far away. If not, your room will do just fine.
The band have been compared to the likes of Bon Iver and are getting glorious reviews from all around, which could lead to skyrocketed expectations, but there are no doubts in our minds that this record will submerge you in it’s indie folk bubble with a blanket of delicate guitars, pianos and violins, leaving you wanting just a little bit more after every listen.
